Description: New Instructional Designers need to know what role each person on their team plays in order to do their jobs efficiently and effectively. I created a module in Blackboard for new instructional designers to have a better understanding of their teams' roles.
Skills Developed: From this project, I gained a better understanding of Articulate Storyline and Rise 360. I also learned how to conduct a kick-off meeting and the things that are important to ask/discuss at those meetings. I used an LMS (Blackboard) to house the projects and became familiar with other tools I had not used before.

Description: OTIDE encompasses many different opportunities making it difficult for new hires to remember all they do. I created a brief interactive course for new hires to introduce them to everything OTIDE has to offer.
Skills Developed: In this short course, I used Articulate Storyline. I got a better understanding of how to use the different interactions in Storyline to create a more engaging learner experience.

Description: New instructional designers have a difficult time remembering all that OTIDE encompasses. This job aid reinforces material presented in a self-paced online course and provides a way for the instructional designer to quickly remember what has been learned about OTIDE.
Skills Developed: In this project, I gained a better understanding of how to create graphics that are helpful and add to what is being taught.
ITAS and OTIDE Team Dynamics

Client: The University of Alabama Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education (OTIDE)
Description: New instructional designers have a difficult time remembering all that OTIDE encompasses. This Sway was created as an overview of Module 1 of ITAS and OTIDE Team Dynamics to catch the attention of the learner.
Skills Developed: I used graphic design skills to make the introduction to the course visually appealing.
